Membership Types
Individual Membership
Individual Members are able to access resources, including the forums, and participate in Annual General Meetings.
Organizational Membership
Organizational Members are part of our coalition, sharing policy goals and contributing to our collective advocacy work.
Student
Secondary students are able to gain volunteer hours by working with member organizations. Furthermore, students are able to gain certification in Introduction to Community Environmental Advocacy.
For Individuals and Organizations
We offer a range of services and supports to members organizations, including models of fractional funding that help enhance capacity in specific areas, such as website design and maintenance, social media, networking and public communications.
We also offer access to internal data, including contact lists for media and public representatives.
Finally, we have a members-only forum, which members can use to communicate and collaborate with each other
For Students
We have a dedicated forum where Organizational Members and other community organizations are able to post requests for help, for which students are able to gain volunteer hours.
We are also working to build out additional programming based on our unique form of environmental advocacy.
We have started with an introduction to what local, community-based environmental advocacy is like in Central Ontario. Students who complete this module will gain certification from us, which can be included on resumes or applications to post-secondary schools. This may be particularly useful if applying to a program is a related discipline, like Environmental Studies.
